IP Fabric uses CLI commands and APIs to collect live configuration, state, and topology data from your entire hybrid multicloud environment. After gathering a complete inventory of devices and connections, IP Fabric builds a digital twin of the infrastructure: an interactive, vendor-neutral model that makes it easy to visualize dependencies, simulate behavior, and validate security and regulatory controls. Infrastructure insights are available through both a user-friendly GUI as well as seamless API integrations, in order to enable faster collaboration and automation across teams.

Segregation of Duties (SoD) is an important component of good infrastructure governance, as it prevents any one system or person from making unchecked changes to the infrastructure. IP Fabric does not push configurations or changes, but rather validates them after they’re made. After mapping the infrastructure’s devices and connections, the platform runs pre-built and custom checks to ensure that behavior matches business intent. This regular validation effectively de-risks automation, bolsters security, and assists with compliance by ensuring a proper SoD

Stateful data is a prerequisite for successful AIOps. Without this, automated actions can introduce security, compliance, and operational risk. IP Fabric helps organizations to avoid those risks by providing a strong foundation for AIOps. The platform starts by automatically discovering all infrastructure devices, connections, and configurations, before normalizing and validating data so that it’s automation-ready.
This accurate, validated data creates a strong foundation for scalable AIOps.
