IP Fabric can run both built-in and custom checks. Built-in checks are based on industry best practices and core requirements for regulatory standards like PCI-DSS, HIPAA, DORA, and NIS2. Custom checks are unique to your business requirements; it’s quick and easy to make them using natural language, no specialized query languages needed.
Custom intent checks are easy to build, and don’t require any specialized knowledge of coding or query languages. You can generate custom checks automatically using our enterprise-grade MCP server, or manually via our user-friendly interface.

IP Fabric automatically detects when your observed network, cloud, and application behavior drifts from your intent. If this drift requires remediation, IP Fabric send webhooks to external tools to jump-start the remediation process. For example, it can automatically populate an ITSM ticket with highly contextualized data to accelerate troubleshooting. Then, once you’ve remediated a compliance violation, IP Fabric will run another snapshot to validate that any changes are implemented according to your intent. This process maintains a Segregation of Duties (SoD), which is essential for proper network governance.
