As per usual, the IP Fabric team has been working away on new features and functionalities to help you get the most out of our automated network assurance platform.
What's new in IP Fabric v6.0?
Cisco Fabric Path and Route Maps
For Cisco ACI, we added additional support for path lookups! Now you’ll see additional VXLAN header information when crossing over layer 2 interfaces.

ForcePoint support
Basic discovery of ForcePoint devices has now been implemented, expanding our supported vendor list.

More Vendors added for tunnels
With updates coming to each of the major firewall vendors, we added new support for layer 3 tunnel interfaces:
- Juniper
- Palo Alto
- Arista

VMware NSX-T - Cloud Security
We added support for NSX-T! The ACLs are now in the ACL table, and they are now included in path lookups.
View hostnames how you want to
We've added some more columns to our Inventory table that represent the different Hostnames IP Fabric has seen for your network device.

Attributes & Attributes filtering
We are happy to announce the ability to add custom attributes to devices. These attributes can also be used as a global filter.

Role-based Access Control
Create a policy for access by device attributes, or create a policy for the endpoints the user should have access to. Combine both for a powerful customized user experience!

There have also been some under-the-hood changes:
- Customize the number of Workers for the IP Fabric appliance – Scaling
- More customized discovery tasks
- Assume Role for AWS support for multiple regions
In addition to all these amazing new features, the IP Fabric team has been working away at over 550 issues, bugs, and overall improvements! You can download the datasheet here for a list of all our current features.
