Replace NetMRI.
Future-proof your network.

NetMRI is approaching EoL, but have no fear: IP Fabric has partnered with Infoblox to deliver a seamless transition to a new Network Configuration and Change Management (NCCM) solution, plus additional features to uplevel visibility, maintain network stability, and achieve continuous compliance.

Network Visibility Meets IP Management

Gone is the struggle of relying on ITAMs and CMDBs to manage your network. Instead, IP Fabric and Infoblox NIOS have joined forces to give you the most accurate and actionable view of your network all from a single source of truth.
Add the IP Fabric extension to your Infoblox NIOS instance for a frictionless migration from NetMRI.
Get complete visibility into your network configuration, state, and behavior via end-to-end path lookups and vendor-neutral snapshots.
Automate 160+ intent checks to validate IPAM and DDI data, pinpoint interdependencies, and ensure continuous compliance with leading standards like DORA, NIS2, and PCI-DSS.
Conduct dry runs to identify overlapping networks and IP addresses before pushing changes to production.
Sync your normalized network data in a single source of truth for faster troubleshooting, more informed decision making, and expanded opportunities for automation.
NetMRI is scheduled to reach End of Life (EoL) on April 30, 2027. Infoblox recommends switching to IP Fabric for the smoothest transition.
25%
of all IT projects run over budget due to hidden interdependencies. Run the IP Fabric extension in Infoblox to get a complete picture of your devices, configurations, and more.
Migrate from NetMRI In 5 Simple Steps
Step 1.

Install the IP Fabric (v7.0+) extension via the Infoblox portal.

Step 2.

Run IP Fabric's CLI management protocols to discover your devices, detect your current network state, and identify dependencies.

Step 3.

Automatically sync IP Fabric's network insights to Infoblox NIOS. (You can always customize your sync via a YAML configuration.)

Step 4.

Run the "Start Process" feature to generate a network validation list and detailed logs to preview the impact of any network changes before you make them.

Step 5.

Validate your changes and finalize your sync to Infoblox to ensure that you have the most up-to-date network intel from IP Fabric.
