Position overview 

IP Fabric is a fast-growing automation platform for Network Engineers. Currently, customer support responsibility and quality assurance are distributed among technical presales engineers, network engineers, and developers. Our goal is to build dedicated customer support and quality assurance team which will help us to improve our product and customer experience. If you are a network engineer who likes to troubleshoot problems and you are interested in network automation, then you must be the right candidate for us.  

Prime Responsibilities

  • In-depth troubleshooting and resolving customer networking issues with the IP Fabric platform. Our customer's networks are big and give us complex and very interesting challenges 
  • Create use cases and test procedures for network technologies and protocols 
  • Installations of IP Fabric and initial deployment 
  • Help to maintain our documentation and knowledgebase 
  • Testing of IP Fabric platform 

 

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a network engineer, designing, implementing and operating networks 
  • Professional networking qualifications (CCNA/CCNP level or other vendors certification) 
  • IPF is a vendor-independent platform, so the more vendors you knew the better 
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, forwarding, and transmission 
  • Knowledge of network management practices and procedures 
  • Good programming  skills are a plus 
  • Familiarity with server virtualization technologies – IP Fabric is delivered as a virtual image (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS), basic experience at least with one hypervisor is a plus 
  • Operating systems knowledge – IP Fabric is built on Linux. Linux experience is a plus 
  • Solid customer interaction experience, a good level of English is a must 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Able to work in our Prague office most of the week (we can help you with relocation) 
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
