Our team members are Cisco Live veterans, so we knew what to expect going into the latest Cisco Live EMEA in Amsterdam this year - a crowd hungry to learn in a bustling World of Solutions, and an audience ready to engage across the event. These expectations proved true and we had a phenomenal week shaking hands with folks from across IT organizations; practitioners seeking tools to solve their daily challenges, leaders wanting fuel for their upcoming strategic projects and initiatives, and fellow vendors celebrating mutual successes!
As Diamond Sponsors, we had the opportunity to join several presentations, panel discussions, and Breakout Sessions around the event.
Sustainability is still a huge topic for the Cisco Live audience, and as a Cisco partner, we had the opportunity to discuss how IT practitioners can digest and act on high-level sustainability mandates at the Impact Theatre. Director of Global Channel Sales, Joe Kershaw, joined the panel alongside Intel:
We were also honored to have CRG Technology customer Charles Russel Speechlys join us at the Impact Theatre. Charles Russell Speechlys' CTO Abba Abbaszadi, shared how using IP Fabric has helped bring the key network insights to the surface that his team needs to proactively tackle complex network operations. He was joined by IP Fabric product Evangelist Daren Fulwell and CRG Technology Founder Campbell Gregory.

Daren Fulwell also shared the IP Fabric vision for a reference architecture for network automation in his Breakout Session, titled QA for your end-to-end network.
We're proud to host our technology partners, or even simply complementary technologies we find interesting, at our booth to mix things up and highlight the power of a considered technology tooling ecosystem! This year, NetBox Labs' Rich Bibby took the stage at booth C12 to discuss the necessity of a trusted Source of Truth in your network automation architecture.
Chris Noon from Alkira, our cloud-obsessed friends just a few booths over, joined us for a presentation on navigating the complexities of the multi-cloud network.
We also welcomed Paddy Kelly, from Network To Code, who presented the Nautobot solution for a network Source of Truth.
Finally, we were joined once again by Campbell Gregory from CRG Technology, who explored how IP Fabric has helped his customers achieve better end-to-end understanding and control of their networks.
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to participate in Tech Field Day Extra, the independent tech event where delegates from around the world could get a peek at our platform and some of the innovative use cases we've been cooking up alongside NetBox Labs.
Daren Fulwell bent the rules just a touch to educate the audience on the concept of network assurance and contextualized, network-wide validation, where knowledge rather than just data is key, before Solution Architect Alex Gittings demoed the IP Fabric-NetBox and NetBox Cloud platform integrations!
Luckily the awesome delegates, while hungry for the demo, took the scene-setting well and embraced this context by engaging with thoughtful questions.
Themes echoed throughout the week, on the floor at the World of Solutions, in many presentations, and of course, at the keynote presentation led by Cisco EMEA President Oliver Tuszik, were AI and security, and the convergence of the two as we consider how to stay secure in a world moving toward AI-based technology.
What will it mean for the network infrastructure underneath?

The IP Fabric team had a whirlwind week in Las Vegas getting together for one of the biggest events of the year – Cisco Live!
We were buzzing at the thought of getting back to face-to-face conversations about how network assurance can revolutionize network operations, accelerate automation efforts, and make you rethink your network tooling ecosystem. With this in mind, we planned a schedule aimed at educating, sharing, and connecting with organizations handling increasingly complex and dynamic networks.
This came to fruition just as we anticipated, and our booth was a hive of activity; from presentations to demos of the product tailored around specific use-cases, we were spoiled with opportunities to showcase IP Fabric’s powerful network assurance platform.
Some presentations from the team included Network Assurance 101, with Daren Fulwell covering the basics of this relatively newer concept that plays a pivotal role in any enterprise network.
Joe Kershaw, Global Channel Sales Lead, joined the party to unpack Network Automation Strategies & Network Assurance, centering our role in helping you automate confidently.
Next up, Justin Jeffery took the stage with his talk, Network as a Database, explaining all the ways you can use network data – automatically gathered and visualized with IP Fabric - to elevate your operations.
Pete Crocker led a relatable talk, which elicited knowing laughs as soon as the first slide entitled “Why has my app team stopped calling?” popped up. Pete outlined some day-to-day frustrations of overworked network engineers that are easily solved with IP Fabric.
An abundance of special guests joined us too! Luke Richardson, from an IP Fabric customer WeWork, was present to add his thoughts to a talk at the Content Corner entitled Making Network Automation Relevant. Daren and Luke drew quite the crowd as they explained why automation is valuable for everyone in an organization, not just the network engineer.
Christian Adell from Network to Code gave a practical demonstration of how to synchronize your Source of Truth using IP Fabric and Nautobot ChatOps, and later joined Justin for a chat about Contributing to the Open Source Community.
Karan Munalingal was at the IP Fabric booth just a skip away from his own Itential booth, showing our audience a recently announced integration – Itential & IP Fabric: Automation & Assurance.
Finally, we were thrilled to participate in Tech Field Day Extra – this formed the perfect stage to demo our integration with Itential to the TFDx delegates away from the loud and lively World of Solutions.
Watch it here: TFDx at Cisco Live
In the collaborative whiteboard session led by Itential’s Chris Wade and Karan Munaligal and IP Fabric’s Daren Fulwell, we saw how each platform augments network operations solo, and then how Itential and IP Fabric fit together within your tooling ecosystem to form a powerful network automation engine with assurance at the core, propelling the network engineer along the Road to the Self-Driving Network.
IP Fabric left Las Vegas exhausted, but after some recovery, we’re absolutely energized and inspired by the connections we made at Cisco Live! If you met us at the event and want to learn more, or if you weren't there and want to learn about what we can do for your network, request a demo with our team!
